He was predeceased by: his parents, Hieronim Walenczak and Frances Wincek Walenczak; his sister Helen Trzonkowski; his nephew David Trzonkowski; and his brothers-in-law, Norm and Ken Kujawa.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Walenczak of West Burlington; his daughter Lisa DeWitt (Brad) of West Burlington; his pets, Chi Chi, Baylee and Nala; his brothers, Walter Walenczak (Connie) of Maumee, OH and John Walenczak (Debbie) of Toledo, OH; and his sister-in-law Sharon Kujawa of Toldeo, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601).
A memorial has been established for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
