She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard L. Swailes and Gladys A. Swailes (Zihlman); her siblings, Shirley Wellington, Howard Swailes, Sally Werhle and Edward Swailes; and her niece Diana Wellington.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Omer Moad; her children, Marc Moad (Nicolette) of West Burlington, Judith Moad of Palm Bay and Patty Rachowicz (Marcus) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Eden, Adriana and Anthony Moad; and her stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Mason Rachowicz.
A memorial has been established in her memory for Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health & Hospice.
