Pamela Dodds Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pamela Dodds of West Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rheinschmidt and Mary Lee Rheinschmidt (McKitterick); her brother Ron Rheinschmidt; and her granddaughter Kelsey Vandenberg. She is survived by: her sons, Dan Rheinschmidt (Karen) of Cape Coral, Fla., Charles Vandenberg (Lee) of Fort Madison, John Vandenberg (Susan) of West Burlington and Mike Vandenberg of West Burlington; her siblings, Carol Myers of West Burlington, Karen Walls (Millard) of Kentucky and Jerry Rheinschmidt of Colorado; her grandchildren, Branden Rheinschmidt of North Carolina, Heather Rheinschmidt of Florida, Taylor Vandenberg of New York, Natalie Vandenberg, Hayden Vandenberg (Amelia Vandenberg), Hayden Wilson and Des Moines; and her great grandchildren, Kyle and Daniel Rheinschmidt of Florida.

In 1989 she married long-time friend Randy Dodds and the two were together until he passed in 2017 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
