With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Omina Rae Askew of West Burlington, Iowa, born in Franklin, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Omina Rae Askew to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Scott and Velma L. Rawlings (Chapman); her husband Paul Loren Askew; her siblings, Russell Chapman Rawlings and Peasche Reid; and her son-in-law Steve Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Elledge (Dave) of Gladstone and Nancy Askew (Steve Brown); and her grandchildren, Paul Leslie Elledge of Gladstone and Lauren Camille Brown of San Francisco, California. She is also survived by five half-sisters and several wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and great neighbors.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
