She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Bond and Sina Bond; her husband Carl Lee Murphy; and her son Randy Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Melissa (Jerry), Amy and Nathaniel Murphy; her close friend Debbie Bliesener; and her siblings, Melvin Bond (Shirley), Cheryl McIntire (Rex), Vickie Collins (Don) and Ricky Bond (Diana "Dee"). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
