We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2022, at the age of 89, Dana Lee Harris of West Burlington, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Alter and Nellie Alter; her daughter Connie Weir Vaughan; and her brothers, Jack Alter and Leon.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Harris of Mabank, TX, Randy Harris (Michelle) of Burlington, Russ Harris of Iowa City, Ryan Harris (Misty) of Burlington, Pam Lowry (Jim) of Flower Mound, TX and Lori Coakley (Doug) of New London; her grandchildren, Matt, Brad, Andy, Luke Weir, Nic Lowry, Abbie Lowry-Ebert, Lauren Lowry-Owen, Jake, Kati, Samantha, Brooke, Emma, Noah Harris, Ali and Josh Coakley; and her siblings, Beverly Fisher of Burlington, Linda Kay of Arizona, Cheryl Herbers of California and Larry Alter (Marcia) of Burlington. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the First Congregational Church and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
