It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Spector of West Branch, Iowa, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Wilfred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wilfred's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellyn Spector (Gunn) and George Spector. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Spector of West Branch; his sister Glorialee Sanders of Florida; his children, Bill Kersten and Lacey (Diana Kersten) of California; his grandson Lucas of California; and his stepdaughter Amy Wilkinson (Victor) of Georgia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service- Iowa City (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52244-0167).
