She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Sherlock and Eleanor Sherlock (Sponar); her brother Robert Sherlock; and her friend Brenden Dailey. She is survived by: her siblings, Roger Sherlock and Barbara Anderson (David); and her sister-in-law Jan Sherlock. She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews; seven great nieces and four great nephews; and five great-great nieces and one great-great nephew.

Memorial contributions in Sara's memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
