Russell Leighty Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Leighty (West Branch, Iowa), born in Tipton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Leighty and Genevieve Schwitzer Leighty. He is survived by: his wife Jo of Springdale; his daughters, Lisa Browning (Bruce) of West Liberty, Kathy Knoop (Bobby) of West Branch and Amy Budreau (Troy) of West Branch; and his grandchildren, Bryce Browning (Lizzie Imm), Abby Knoop, Mitchell Knoop, Brady Knoop, Kristen Westpheling (Taylor), Amanda Budreau and Jeremy Budreau.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home West Branch (201 Pedersen St, West Branch, IA 52358). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Henderson Barker Funeral Home (201 Pedersen St, West Branch, IA 52358).
