It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rory Matthew Ditzler of West Branch, Iowa, born in Oak Forest, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ditzler and Lourdes Ditzler (Thurn); his parents-in-law, Darlene and Frank Kabela; his sister Rochelle Evans; and his brother-in-law Carey Laska.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Ditzler of West Branch, IA; his children, Megan Ditzler (Travis) and Tyler Pizzurro of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandson Joseph Teufel; his siblings, Ronald Ditzler (Louise), Roberta Laska, Raymond Ditzler (Lee Ann) and Rhonda Ceska (Thomas); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Noll (Steve), Dave Kabela (Joan), Lois Coates (Mike) and Steve Kabela (Darcy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mercy Foundation or National Kidney Association.
