She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Cahill and Kathryn Cahill (Barry); and her brothers, Jack and Francis Cahill (Bud). She is survived by: her husband Francis Abel of West Branch; her children, Kim Salm (Dan) of Iowa City, Lisa (William Wallace) of Westchester, Illinois, Tom of West Branch, Chris of West Branch and Andrea (John Walsh) of West Branch; her grandchildren, Ben, Zach Thompson and Will Tidrick; her children, Lauren and Kyla Salm; and her sister Patricia Abel (Raymond) of Burlington, Iowa..
