Paul Friis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Friis of West Branch, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marius Friis and Alice Friis (Larson); his children, LeAnn Beatty (Dan) of Minnetrista, MN, Lynn Mayhew (Mike) of Eau Claire, WI, Curt Friis (Carla) of West Branch, IA and Kirsten Fry (John) of Beaver Falls, PA.; his grandchildren, Mat Winegarden (Jenny), Blake Friis (Summer), Jay Wendt, Erika Walters (Dustin), Ben Friis, Christine Charlson (Colin), Andrea Spotleson (Mitchell), Natalie and Lynnell Fry; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Mya Winegarden, Chase, Carver Charlson, Gabe, Cooper, Parker Friis, Grace, Hannah, Isaac, Madelyn Walters and Dempsey Wendt; his brother Herb Friis (Karen) of West Branch; and his sister-in-law Sandy Paulson of Clear Lake. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
