She was predeceased by: her husband John Harry Roth; her parents, Joseph Gaffey and Laura Gaffey; and her brother Charles "Chuck" Gaffey. She is survived by: her children, Ann Brandewiede (Matt) of West Harrison, John Wombacher (DeeDee) of Iowa City, Bill Wombacher (Lisa) of Red Oak and Suzanne Krebs of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings, Gerald Gaffey (Marilyn) of Iowa City, Harold Gaffey (Cindi) of Coralville, Ed Gaffey (Karen) of Albuquerque, NM, Laurine Sueppel (Robert) of Marion and Theresa Stevens (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friends of Old St. Michael's in Holbrook, Iowa and sent to Gerald Gaffey, #9.
