She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Yanda and Anna Yanda (Zeman); her husband William "Bill" Phelps; her sisters, Ruth Ann Tomlinson of Marshalltown, IA and Dorthy Smith of Melrose, IA.; her children, Rosemary Phelps of Kansas, Ann Aubrecht (Kenny) of Iowa City, Larry Phelps (Cindy) of Texas and Linda Schnoebelen of Iowa City; her sister Ella Jean Demeyer; and her grandson Gene Phelps. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
