It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry James Thompson (West Branch, Iowa), born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on February 4, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce "Bud" Addison Thompson Jr. and Agnes Thompson (Ruzek); his daughter Nicki; his sister Lorene; and his father-in-law Lee Siegling.
He is survived by: his wife Janet of Cedar Bluff; his children, Troy Thompson of West Branch and Lori Roenfeldt (Guy Bein) of Atalissa; his son-in-law Casey Hesseltine of Atalissa; his sister Linda Hatfield of Rockford; his grandchildren, Eric (Courtney), Mitchell, Kylei, Jordan, Tanner, Sid, Alexandria, Kennedy, Andilyn and August; his great grandchildren, Cadence, Casper, Memphis and Evelyn; his mother-in-law Blanche Siegling; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Maher (Hugh), Jim Siegling (Kathy) and Scott Siegling (Anne Goetze).
