With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Elmer Detlefsen (West Branch, Iowa), born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2020 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncle Rhodes "Bud" Isenhart; his friends, Eileen Denny, Bob Bennett and Pat Wildenberg; and his parents, Elmer Detlefsen and Maxine Detlefsen (Isenhart).
He is survived by: his sister Diann McCoy (Detlefsen); his brother-in-law Bill; his niece Emily; his nephew Marty (Caitlin); his foster mother Barbara Hatfield; and his foster siblings, Margaret, Eleanor Murray, David and John Murray.
