He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spencer and Florence Spencer (Sidwell); his son Ruston; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Mary Lenore, Donald and Harold.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Van Duzer; his children, Kammy Simonton (James) of Columbus, Wendy Fowler (Greg) of West Branch and Nathan Spencer (Jackie Gregory) of Arvada; and his grandchildren, Rachel (Peter), Hannah, Levi, Micah, Brittany, Braden (Miranda Wieneke), Luca and Jake.
