With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Sue Shipley of West Branch, Iowa, born in North English, Iowa, who passed away on February 15, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Ellsworth and Joan Wade (Crawford) of Virginia; and her sisters, Roxine Van Dee and Jackie Eckert. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Carmichael (Sara) of Muscatine, Suzanna Kazlauskas (Dalius) of West Branch and Shannon Carmichael of West Branch; her grandchildren, Cody Carmichael, Tiphani Carmichael, Devin Kazlauskas, Izaiah Carmichael, Justyce Jones, Emma Kazlauskas, Johnny Patterson and Dilan Kazlauskas; her great grandchildren, Dominic Cruz, Joshua Cruz, Rowan Carmichael and Kayson Nolan; and her siblings, Marsha Vinson (Dan) of Lena, Illinois, Mike Wade of North English and Jeff Wade (Cindy) of North English. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
