She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tokheim and Junis Tokheim; her siblings, Willard Tokheim (Gladys) and Wanda Tokheim; her grandson Timothy Cargin; and her nephew Jon Jester.
She is survived by: her husband Clad Cargin; her children, Pat Cargin of Cedar Rapids, Tom Cargin (Connie) of Leawood, Kansas, Richard Cargin (Sharon) of Le Mars and Bruce Cargin (Linda Burton) of Backus, MN.; her grandchildren, Luke Cargin (Stephanie), Levi Cargin (Libby), Sarah Cargin, Alex Cargin (Anna), Steven Cargin, Leah Cargin and Maggie Cargin (McKenzie); her nephew Steven Jester of Le Mars; and her niece Robin Naylor of Sydney. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
