With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roman William Knecht (West Bend, Iowa), born in Whittemore, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Knecht and Emma Salz Knecht; his son Bill; and his siblings, Rolanda, Harold, Beatrice and Norbert (Nub).

He is survived by: his wife Ardith Henry (Ardie) of West Bend, IA; and his daughters, Becky Hefty (Dave) of West Bend, IA and Julie Montag (Neil) of West Bend, IA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
