She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Crotts and Helen Crotts; her husband Benjy Banwart; and her siblings, Bonnie Thilges and Frank Crotts.

She is survived by: her children, Helen Crotts (Travis), Lee Ann Banwart of West Bend, IA, Jeff Banwart (Audie) of Bloomington, MN, Dave Banwart (Angie) of Fleming Island, FL and Scott Banwart (LeAnn) of Hubertus, WI; and her sister Bertha Adams of Las Vegas, NV.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
