She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Varrelman and Mildred Varrelman (Lumley); her sister Patricia Johnson; and her great-niece Audrey Young. She is survived by: her husband David C. Smith; her son Michael Skinner; and her stepchildren, Davey Mary Jean Smith, David S. Smith (Alicia), Georgette Black (Ken), Paula Ayala, Anthony M. W. Smith and Danielle Duehr (Randy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
