She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Spencer; her daughter Laura Lindaman; her parents, Leslie H. Wiles and Maude Wiles; her granddaughter Jodee Ruth Lindaman; and her siblings, John, Earl, Melvin, Lloyd, Leslie, Mildred Loll, Dorothy Beanblossom, Maxine Jones and Leila Thompson.

She is survived by: her son John E. II (Carol); and her sister Bonnie Knepper of Johnston, Iowa.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six step grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
