It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marla J. Reding (Wesley, Iowa), born in Algona, Iowa, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Larry Grandgenett; and her parents-in-law, June and Verne Reding. She is survived by: her mother Joan Grandgenett (Goetz); her husband Jerry Reding of Wesley; her daughter Kayla Schumacher (Ben) of Champlin, MN; her grandchildren, Cooper, Griffin and Bowden; her daughter Cindy Shimp (Kyle) of Urbandale; her grandchildren, Savannah and Sage; her son David Reding (Kristen) of Wesley; her grandchildren, LJ and Cutler; her siblings, Dan Grandgenett (Judy) of Corwith, Ron Grandgenett (Holly) of Orlando, FL, Tom Grandgenett (Caren) of Merriam, KS, Alan Grandgenett (Sally) of Wahoo, NE and Diane Suntken (Bruce) of Kearney, NE; her siblings-in-law, Verne Lee Reding (Judy) of Wesley, Paul Reding (Darla) of Garner and Denise Dornbier (Dennis) of Adel; and also Joan Grandgenett of Wesley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kossuth County Cancer Support Foundation in Marla's memory.
