She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Harbour and Ruth Young Harbour; her children, Lorna Truck (Fred), Robert Jr. Young (Chris), Joann McCracken Young (Wayne McCracken) and Kenneth Young; her grandchildren, Benjamin Truck, Cynthia Young, Andrew Young and Emma Young; her great grandchildren, Korra Sue Young and Alice Rey Young; her husband Robert William Young; and her son-in-law Wayne.

Memorial donations may be made in Helen's name to Grace United Methodist Church Helen Young Music Fund, or Doctors without Borders.
