He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Eischen and Anna Eischen (Bormann); his wife MaryAnn Hauptly of Joseph's Catholic Church; his sons, Michael and Timothy; and his children-in-law, Marvin Eischen (Sal), Verna Pfeffer (Henry), Robert Eischen (Stella) and Phil Eischen (Ruth).

He is survived by: his sons, David Eischen (Erin) of Lu Verne, Russell Eischen of Wesley and Alex Eischen (Jolene) of Wesley; and his close friend Joan Grandgenett. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
