It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Pearl Hamilton in Wesley, Iowa, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Pearl Hamilton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Robinson Hamilton; her parents, Pearl Mae Baker Hudson and Maurice Marshall Hudson; and her brothers, Hugh Hudson (Phyllis) and William Hudson (Anne).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Isabella, Maxine Hamilton and Ann Reynolds (Randal); her grandchildren, Nathanael (Astrit), Jonathan (Lindsay), Rebekah and Tyler Stapler; and her great grandchildren, Reece, Sloane and Amelia. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, their spouses, children and grandchildren.
Surviving the isolation of the pandemic was her greatest hurdle, but she had survived Polio as a young adult, Malaria in Africa, then Covid (twice).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Crestview School of Inquiry Library, 8355 Franklin Avenue, Clive, IA 50325 in memory of Elaine.
