It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Tessau of Wellsburg, Iowa, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Tessau to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Tessau and Emmi Tessau (Vogt); his sisters, Marlys Meester, Alice Elaine Ennenga and Mary Ann Tessau; his brother-in-law Dale Ennenga; and his niece Brenda Ennenga Cohen.
He is survived by: his wife Carol LeAnn Schmidt; his children, Karen Heerkes (Mike) of Dike, Marlee Ellis (Bruce) of Cedar Rapids, Lisa Ollendieck (Chris) of Cedar Falls and Geoffrey Tessau (Carrie) of St. Charles, IA; his grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia Heerkes, Emily, Quinton Ellis, Erin, Josh Ollendieck, Noah, Danica and Liam Tessau; his brother Roy Tessau (Susan); and his sister-in-law Janice VanHorn (Myron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Burial will follow at the Wellsburg Reformed Church Cemetery. (Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged and requested by the family).
