She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebe Harms and Dena Harms (Ross); her husband John Everts; and her brother Leroy Harms. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Smit (Paul) of Holland and Timothy Everts of Wellsburg, Iowa; her grandchildren, Michael Smit (Rebekah) of Pella, Scott Smit of Grundy Center and Lori Horne (Peter) of Otley, Iowa; her great grandchild Anna Smit; and her brother Elmer Harms (Donna) of Sigourney.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Marian's name to her family which will be later designated to the Wellsburg Reformed Church.
