He was predeceased by: his parents, Lubert Meyer and Jennie Meyer (Eckhoff); his wife Karen Sassaman; and his brother Boyd Meyer. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Renae of Cedar Falls; his mother-in-law Elner Sassaman (Foote); his children, Myles Meyer (Sheryl) of Holland and Melinda Reding (Mark) of Grundy Center; and his grandchildren, Candice, Samuel Meyer, Bailey, Skylar Reding, Angelic, Madison, Noah and Samantha Fink.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in LuRay's name to his family.
