He is survived by: his wife Nancy Eekhoff; his sons, Justin Huisman (Kara) of Treynor, IA, Nathan Huisman of Parkersburg, IA and Quentin Huisman (Ashley) of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Sydni, James, Jadyn, Adrian, Jackson, Braxton, Mariah and Grant; his siblings, Donna Kadner (James) of Conrad, IA and Darren Huisman (Ardene) of Orange City, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen, Wilfred Bosma, Dave, Peg Eekhoff, Hank and Kathy Eekhoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
