She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cooper and Margaret Cooper (Smith); and her brother-in-law David Brink. She is survived by: her husband Jim Geerdes; her children, Mark Geerdes and Kim Hastings (Patrick); her grandchildren, Taylor Butler, Sr. (Deondre), Parris Hastings (Yaira), Timothy Vree and Toni Hastings Gonzalez; her great grandchildren, Amarionna Butler of Deondre, Butler Jr., Ezio Vree, Josiah Butler, Jazel Rodriguez and Jamari Hastings; and her siblings, Anita Brink, Larry Cooper (Jan) and Terry Cooper (Lynn).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (12419 185th St, Wellsburg, IA 50680). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
