He is survived by: his wife Ruth Allene Sterling; his children, John Palmer (Becky) of Keota, James Palmer (Donna) of Wellman and Catherine Wertjes (Alan) of Olympia, WA; his grandchildren, Katie, Shelly Palmer (Tyler Laing), Lindsey Graber (Cody), Ross Wertjes (Britt), Will Wertjes, Nate and Olivia Wertjes; and his sisters, Mary Lou Crossett of Fountain Valley and Brenda Gluth (Bob) of Highland, Michigan..
