It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi Jean Konicek (Wellman, Iowa), born in Birmingham, Ohio, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shipman and Margret Shipman (Myers); and her siblings, Clea Anna Helmlinger (Roger), Sandra Shipman, Willard "Sonny" Shipman, Audrey Dyer (Jerry) and Kenny Shipman.
She is survived by: her former husband William Konicek; her children, Kelly Fink (Kirk) of Marshalltown, Jim Konicek (Kim) of Williamsburg and Lori Tyler of Newton; her grandchildren, Ashley Riley (Luke) of Clutier, Aaron Fink (Mercedes) of Clutier, Amber Fink of Marshalltown, Joshua Konicek (Sydney Schmuecker) of Marengo, Macy Konicek of Williamsburg and Caleb Lacina of Williamsburg; her great grandchildren, Kasie, Kaylee, Kortni, Ian and Levi; her brothers, Donald "Gene" Shipman (Barbara) and Edward "Ed" Shipman (Eunice); and her sister-in-law Judy Shipman.
