He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Yocum and Elmira Yocum (Ollinger); and his brother Dave. He is survived by: his former wife Florence Sindelar; his children, Maria Rice of Mount Pleasant, Becky Hill (Matt) of Mount Pleasant and Pete Yocum (Alicia) of Salem; his siblings, Rich Yocum (Carolyn) of St. Joseph's, MO, Lill Buesing (Dave) of Wells, MN, Mary Adriano (Jerry) of Kansas City, MO and Henry Yocum (Diana) of Pocahontas; and his sister-in-law Sharon Yocum of Mount Pleasant. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Open Bible Church.
