He is survived by: his wife Barbara Elizabeth Marner; and his children, John D. Kanagy of Union, Robert J. Kanagy (Anita) of Wellman, JoAnna E. Bird (Randy) of Hamilton, IL, James Kanagy of Parnell, Charles L. Kanagy (Judy) of Colorado Springs, CO, Ruth K. Dorr (Mark) and Steven L. Kanagy (Lisa) of Grundy Center. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for West Union Mennonite Church and Mennonite Central Committee.
