He is survived by: his children, Nathan Piper of Oxford, IA and Sarah Piper of Austin, TX; his granddaughter Savannah Zorn; and his siblings, Ruth Peterson of Kalona, Ron Piper of Harrisonburg, VA and Phil Piper of Angleton, TX..
