With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy E Ogilvie (Wellman, Iowa), born in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Leon and Pearl Lillian Ogilvie (Beedle); his wife Ardis Jacobson; and his brother Leon Ogilvie. He is survived by: his children, Terri Schinstock (Dale) of Urbandale, Tracy Bloebaum (Cal) of Mount Pleasant, Jeffrey Ogilvie of Minneapolis and Thomas Ogilvie (Rebecca) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Michael Schinstock (Sarah Garrison), Blake Lyon (Heather), Mindy Byrum (Zach), Nick Lyon (Leah), Sydney Ogilvie, Sam Ogilvie (Amy), Fred Ogilvie, Frannie Ogilvie and Frank Ogilvie; his great grandchild Evelyn Byrum; his siblings, Lois Ogilvie of Roseville, Minnesota and Don Ogilvie (Cindy) of Motley, Minnesota; and his sister-in-law Kathy Ogilvie of Marble Rock. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
