He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Peiffer and Maurine Peiffer (Leinen); his wife Louise Reschly; his daughter Cindy Peiffer; his brother Phil Peiffer; his son-in-law Charles Hahn; and his siblings, Sandra, Roger and Gregory.
He is survived by: his close friend Donna of Cedar Rapids; his children, Russ Peiffer (Theresa) of Blue Ridge, Janet Deehring of North Liberty, Deb Roush of Washington, Shelli Hahn of Shawano and Pam Peiffer (Larry Redlinger) of Kalona; his siblings, Marlin Peiffer (Lisette) of Washington and Pat Hagist of Brighton; and his sister-in-law Kit Peiffer of Longmont, Colorado.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Joseph Church, Wellman.
