He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vachta and Agnes Vachta (Schneberger); his wife Ethel Ford; his son Norbert Koshetka; and his siblings, Mildred Kolbert, Mary Jacoby and George Vachta, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Doreen Strabala (Neil) of Hills and Susie Henderson (Dave) of Frytown; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Koshetka of Wellman; and his grandsons, Derek VanDyke (Lindsey), Chris Henderson (Mandi), Casey Henderson (Amy) and Kyle Koshetka (Nicki). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
