She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Gaertner and Margaret Gaertner (Bugert); her children, Howard and Carmen; and her brother Harald.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law LeAnn Boes of Riverside; and her siblings, Horst Gaertner, Karin Link of Germany and Berlind Brinkman of Germany.
