It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Hochstetler of Wellman, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Kinsinger and Lavanda Kinsinger (Swartzendruber); her husband Leslie Hochstetler; her sister Norma Kelting; and her brothers-in-law, Garth Kelting and Kenton Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Hochstetler (Deb) of Kalona, Diane Miller (Tony) of Wellman, Bruce Hochstetler (Edie) of Wellman and Sara Bonner (Wes) of Lawrence, KS; and her siblings, Phil Kinsinger (Dottie) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kate Brenneman (Ervin) of Iowa City, Barbara Miller of Iowa City and Nancy Halder (John) of Iowa City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Iowa City Free Lunch Program.
