Verona Yates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Verona Yates of Webster City, Iowa, born in Kamrar, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardell Nissen and Evelyn Nissen (Van Langen); and her husband Dean Yates. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Crane (Dennis), Mitch Yates (Kelly) and Jim Yates (Carla) of Kansas City, MO; her sister Miriam (Ken); her grandchildren, Logan and Carlee Berhow (Chase); and her siblings-in-law, Andy Yates and Sandy Yates. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Verona was an active member of the Asbury UMC, involved in Hamilton Co. Hospital Auxiliary, RSVP, and a former Sunday School teacher.
