She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ely Middleton and Emma Catherine Hansen Middleton; her husband Dale Hillyer; and her nephew Jerry Wheeler. She is survived by: her former husband Marvin Jacobson; her children, Michael Jacobson (Jane) of Iowa Falls and Cindy Bailey (Jim) of Webster City; her grandchildren, Shane Jacobson (Lauren) of North Carolina, Brandon Jacobson (Sydney) of Altoona, Brock Jacobson (Trisha) of Iowa Falls, Bryan Bailey of Webster City and Erin Mickelson (Jeff Johnson) of Webster City; her foster son Derald Hammer (Rose); and also Dalene Schlitter (family: Diane Mork, Donna Foster). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
