He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Kepler and Bessie Kepler (Smith); his wife Laura Belle Koob; and his daughter Kathryn. He is survived by: his grandson Scott Ralston (Melanie) of Broomfield, CO; and his great grandchild Eden Andria Ralston of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
