He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Florence Edith Rasmussen (Morgan); and his sister Mary DesJardins. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Shehorn; and his children, Marsha Kasemeier (Larry), Bruce Rasmussen (Jill), George Rasmussen (Gloria), Kristine Hale (Dennis Clouse) and Rick Rasmussen (Alayne). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren.
