It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Worthington of Webster City, Iowa, born in Jewell, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leigh Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Barkema); her husband Warren Irving Worthington; her son David Worthington; and her siblings, Dorothy Mae Berhow, Carolyn Larson and Gerald "Jerry" Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Worthington (Barbara) of Denver, CO and Douglas Worthington (Alice) of Fort Myers, FL; and her sister Deborah Shinn (Richard) of Erie, CO.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church UCC.
