It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Bentley (Webster City, Iowa), who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hoppenworth and Wilhemine Brase Hoppenworth; her husband Gerald Lester Bentley; her sons-in-law, Richard Claude and Steve Hayes; and her siblings, Ted, Walter, Art, Edgar, Arnold Hoppenworth, Renata Henning, Edna Westendorf and Mable Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Claude Hayes of Webster City, Gerald (Jan Bentley) and Mary (Tom Stepp); and her sister-in-law Maxine Bentley Stover. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
