He is survived by: his daughters, Lyn Merritt (Jason), Kristen Knox (Zachary) and Kelly Wiese; his grandchildren, Jasilyn (Kendall), Payton, Brayden, Parker, Paxton, Lillyan, Izzabelle and Maurianna; his stepchildren, Kara VanDyke (Neal) of Apple Valley, MN and Mark Dorenkamp (Melissa) of Clear Lake, Iowa; his stepgrandchildren, Emma, Will, Gavin, Hudson and Declan; his sisters, Londa Jones and Lola Vaith; and his close friend Patricia Robinson.
He also took immense pride in making a generous donation to the Hormel Institute in honor of his late wife Barb.
