It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa A Wood of Webster City, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Leo Link; her stepfather Ted Muir; her brother Jeff Link; her pet Gizzy; and her grandparents, Bernice, Leo Link Sr., Herman and Grace Ginter.
She is survived by: her mother Jeanne Benzer Link of Ankeny; her former husband James A. Wood; her children, Colton James Wood of Webster City and Madelyn Ann Wood of Webster City; her partner Derren Peck of Webster City; her stepmother Pat Link of Ankeny; and her siblings, Nancy Wagner (Mike) of Oregon, WI, Linda Glab (Scott) of Ankeny, Tina Link (Ken Anderson) of Ankeny, Diane Mahoney of Des Moines and Greg Link (Gina) of Ankeny. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to James Wood in Lisa's honor to establish a scholarship for her children.
